Acceptable Use Policy

Version 1.0 · Last updated 22 October 2026 · Metaworkers, Inc. · info@metaworkers.ai

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. Report misuse to info@metaworkers.ai.

The rule this policy exists for

Do not bring an AI coworker into a conversation the participants have not agreed it can be in. Breaking this is grounds for immediate termination without refund. You must not:

  • invite an AI coworker without the consent the law requires from every participant;
  • use one where all-party consent is required unless you have it;
  • hide, rename, mute or misrepresent it so that people do not realise an AI is present and listening;
  • bring it back after a participant has objected;
  • use it in a conversation you are not part of, or are not authorised to bring an attendee into.

Conversations it must not be used for

  • Legally privileged conversations, such as attorney-client discussions.
  • Regulated health information where the law (for example HIPAA) requires safeguards we have not agreed with you in writing.
  • Payment card data, government identifiers or passwords spoken aloud.
  • Children’s conversations, or any setting where participants cannot lawfully consent.
  • Disciplinary, grievance, collective bargaining or works-council proceedings.
  • Confidential information you may not share with a service provider, such as another party’s material under an NDA that forbids it.

Surveillance

Do not use an AI coworker to monitor people covertly, to evaluate or discipline staff without their knowledge, or to build a record of someone’s behaviour without their awareness.

General prohibitions

Do not use the service, or try to:

  • break the law or help someone else do so;
  • infringe intellectual property or misuse trade secrets;
  • harass, defame or discriminate against anyone;
  • access another customer’s account, meetings or documents;
  • probe, scan, overload or interfere with the service or its infrastructure;
  • get around metering, limits or authentication;
  • resell the service without our written agreement;
  • extract our prompts, models or configuration, or use output to train a competing model.

Output

AI coworkers produce drafts. Do not present their output as a verbatim or authoritative record, and do not attribute a statement, commitment or approval to a person on their word alone.

How we enforce this

Where we can, we contact you first. We may act without notice where we reasonably believe there is recording without consent, a legal threat, or a risk to the service: by warning you, removing the AI coworker from a meeting, suspending or ending the account, and reporting to authorities where the law requires. We do not monitor the content of your meetings to police this policy. We act on reports and on operational signals.
